ATTIKA

This is my first ever project experimenting and learning about VJing and Mapping.

I imagined a projection with black and white visuals inspired by the piece of art Attika by Victor Vasarely. The projection and the visuals play with the structure of the minimalistic architecture from the Vasarely Foundation in Aix-en-Provence.

With my friend, sound producer Benjamin Cherix, we played and recorded an exclusive 9:36’ track inspired by the music Space Oddity by David Bowie.

Indeed, Vasarely imagined an exclusive album cover for the album Space Oddity in 1969. The music is the basis of the narration of this projection.

This is a hypothetical project.

It was really challenging to communicate our ideas and create music remotely. We sent each other many vocal messages and I did drawings and filmed explanations about the concepts.
