ZIC

For this workshop, students across all three years of the Visual communication course worked in groups of three to deve- lop an exterior signage for the Industrial Zone of the Charmilles in Geneva (ZIC). This poetic signage was conceived to
be easily understood by the visitors and personal for the workers. We combined drawings, inspired by this industrial area, to create a unique typography to indicate each building, as well as a logo. Historical and practical information from every building would be painted on them as well as some of the drawings in hidden areas to create a welcoming and playful environment.
